New forum up!
Since the guestbook on this site doesn't really allow me to respond to people, I have set up a forum hosted on The Metal Forums . Head on over there and you can ask me questions and I'll get back to you! All future site updates will likely occur over
there as well, plus I will be providing some guides on how to make stop motion animations.

Wow, after a ridiculous amount of inactivity, we are back. Well, we haven't exactly gone anywhere, but because of work and
school, everything had to be put on hiatus. So a year and a half after starting Borat and we are still not done.
Fear not, for we have started to work on it once more. Spent about 5 hours shooting today, which puts us a bit over the
halfway mark. We are planning to work on it tomorrow, so hopefully we will get it out within the next month or so, though
with school starting soon, that may become a challenge.
In the meantime, I've started work on another music video. I won't tell you what band or what song, that'll be a surprise,
but I will say that it will be metal and it will be glorious. There will also be pillaging involved, that's a hint ;).
Anyways, I'll try to most updates every now and then. Cheers.

No updates in quite a while, you can thank my busy schedule for that.
Basically heres a break down of what happened this past week:
Borat - Nothing here. Nada. All is ready is the set for the next part of shooting.
MOH:LA - Alot of purchases. I have lets say, 30% of the things I need, with another 20% in transit. We have figured out
a way to make guns, I will write about it soon. I have also found a good ebay shop that people don't seem to know about, as
a good source of bulk bricks. I'm planning to get 2 LEGO Creator boxes (1600 pieces total) when I get payed... which is tommorow.
Goody. And I will also attempt a raid on Toys 'R Us, see if they have anything good there (particularily baseplates which
are notorious for high shipping prices, so ebay isn't a viable option on them).
Other news - I have had a good week in terms of future ideas. However, with 2 projects underway, I should just forget
about them for the next few months and concentrate on these two (and on buying as much god damn LEGO as economically possible
until said time).
That's it for now.

Upon discovering a whole community of people who are siriously into modifying minfigs, I realized that what we had in mind
won't really cut it for the MOHLA movie. We need to improve a few things but in summary, more funds have been allocated and
expect preproduction to last until mid November.

Good news and bad news.
The good news is that I got Sony Vegas. It is absolutely brilliant. Tons of features and absolutely no slow down. Expect
better movies and to see them produced quicker.
However, the bad news is that I have midterms coming up, and generaly a pretty busy 2 weeks, meaning any free time will
be spent studying: i.e. all production is on hiatus until October 19. Not to fear, the Borat movie should be done just in
time for simultaneous release with the official Borat movie, and shooting for MOH:LA should begin shortly after.

A great success! Ok, I found a way to pass around the difficulties that the uter cess-pool that is Windows Movie Maker causes.
By breaking up the film into 4 separate parts, I can decrease the amount of slow-down significantly (and compile the pics
into a movie MUCH faster). Then I will use MM (or Vegas if I'm lucky enough to have it by that time) to stich the 4 movie
files into one, which shouldn't take long since it's dealing with only 4 files and not every picture and recorded audio file
that each part is composed of.
Basically, the chance of seeing a completed movie in about 2 weeks is very good.

The Borat movie continues. I took about 400 pictures today. It may seem like alot but its about 10% of what we should have.
I haven to find a better program, because Windows Movie Maker is really crap. It uses way too much resources and it's still
painfully slow. I'm looking into getting some program made by Sony, that I heard is good. Until then I don't think I can put
the movie together, but fear not for I can still take pictures.

Pre-production on our upcoming epic, MOHLA, continues. I was able to build a Lego kubelwagon. It probably won't be featured
in the first part of the series, but it still marks an achievement in a new building field for me. Not to worry though, you
will still get to see it.
I'm continuing my vigilant hunt on e-bay for pieces that will make the bulk of the Axis and Allied armies. It's looking
pretty grim in a way, even though each piece is just pennies, at 45 minifigs * 5 pieces per dude + shipping its quite alot.
Not to mention the time it will take to modify each piece to look like authentic WW2 gear.
The combined budget for this film is looking to be in the low 3 figure mark. Kind of pricey, but hey, I'm not working
30 hours a week for nothing.
The production for the Borat movie continues. I'm calculating how many shots I need to take per scene. If my boss isn't
an asshole and gives me the promised days off I need, expect a final version in roughly 2 weeks. It sounds long, but the movie
is 8 min long and at 8 frames per second... yeah, its alot of pics.
Anyways, more updates to come, stay tuned.

Pre-production for Medal of Honor: Lego Assault has begun. I have purchased 45 Lego helmets (thanks to e-bay :) ) that I will
modify into American and German WW2 helmets.
I still need to buy torsos, legs, backpacks and most importantly, guns. I will update the site as I aquire the pieces.
Starting next week my work schedule should ease up, so I will have time to begin going through a script with Kamil. However,
before we can start shooting, we have to complete Lego Borat, since the baseplate being used for the set will be needed for
MOHLA.
Expect to see a completed Lego Borat before the release of the official Borat movie on November 3.
